Comment Policy

We believe that good ideas thrive through robust debate and we encourage readers to comment and share their views, in the interest of this comments can currently be posted without review.

However, while it might be a free country, this is a private website and the editorial team reserves the right to remove any comment for any reason. Comments including any of the following will be deleted and persistant offenders will be banned from commenting.

Gratuitous Abuse and Discrimination
Comments should address the issue at hand not engage in ad hominem attacks on authors, subjects of posts or other commenters. Language should be safe for work and comments must not humiliate or insult on the basis of race, religion, ethnicity, gender, age, mental or physical disability, sexual orientation, etc.

Irrelevant Comments and Spam
We know that a good discussion can often wander into different topics however comments should have some connection to the topic or previous comments. Use of comments for commercial purposes including spam is strictly prohibited and will result in bans.

Sock Puppets and Impersonation
If you feel the need to use fake profiles to defend your opinions then you probably need to rethink your opinions.

Threats and incitement to violence
Resorting to violence and threats to make a point only serve to undermine your argument and place you in unconscionable company.
