The dumping of Labor Senator Trish Crossin in favour of Nova Peris because Gillard wants an indigenous senator, is a decision based on skin colour, certainly not political merit. Labor MP's must be wondering who next will be sacrificed for convenience. Poetic justice for Crossin might yet come if Rudd were to dump Gillard in the same unceremonious manner. GC.Ed.
