Starting from 7:30pm Eastern (7:00pm Central and 5:30pm Western) guest bloggers will be chatting live about the budget and responding to your comments. Please promote this event on your blog, email your contact list, post it on your Facebook and Twitter accounts and anywhere else you can!
You will be able to watch the budget speech streaming live on Menzies House, too.
Our guest panel will be available after the budget for a live Q&A session to answer any questions you have or to have a discussion about the implications of the 2010-11 budget.

John Humphreys - economics and public policy
After finishing his economics (honours) degree at the University of Queensland, John started work in the "Budget Policy Division" of the Commonwealth Treasury. There he was responsible for revenue forecasting, and helping to write the budget. Since then, John has spent time consulting, teaching and researching economics -- and has published several papers on tax & welfare reform.
Dr. Joseph Clark - economics and finance
Joseph Clark received his economics PhD from the University of Queensland before moving into the corporate world. He currently works as the Director of Commodity Strategy at Suncorp Investment Management, and is an occasional lecturer on financial markets at the University of Queensland.
Senator Cory Bernardi - politics and public policy
Senator Bernardi has been a Senator for South Australia since 2006. Before entering politics, he spent over a decade in the financial services industry and is a vocal advocate of lower tax and smaller government. He is currently the Shadow Parliamentary Secretary Assisting the Leader of the Opposition and the Shadow Parliamentary Secretary for Infrastructure and Population Policy.
Tim Andrews - tax and public policy
Tim has a degree in economics and social sciences from the University of Sydney, as well as a LLB (Hons) and a Masters in Public Policy. He is currently employed analysing tax policy for Americans for Tax Reform, and served as President of the Australian Liberal Student's Federation from 2006-2008.

Alex Butterworth - young Australians
Alex is the current President of the Australian Liberal Students' Federation and President of the WA Young Liberals. Alex is completing a Law/Arts combined course at the University of Western Australia with an economic history and commercial law focus.
